Residential and Community Support Service is committed to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in reaching their highest potential, one goal at a time.

At Residential and Community Support Services (RCSS), we are dedicated to providing person-centered services to the individuals we serve. Our mission is to help each individual reach their highest level of independence, focusing on one goal at a time so they can realize their greatest potential. We are committed to assisting every person we work with in their unique vision for who they want to be. This approach allows people to flourish as individuals and reach a level of independence suitable to their circumstance. We believe our service methods are unique. Inclusive in our approach to support and behavioral management plans for our clients, we empower the individual to design their plan along with staff, and this ownership has proven to establish greater commitment. We also involve the individual’s natural support system (parents, guardian, case manager), those who know the individual best, so we can develop a more complete picture of the individual. This greater understanding into our client’s preferences for learning and developing new skills, as well as what their triggers are, gives us considerable insight as we create new goals. Our clients experience greater success because they are an important part of the process for their care and development.

We work with the individual where they are at today to get them where they want to be in the future.

Experiencing greater independence –

RCSS provides residential services to adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism, with a concentration on supporting individuals who have a dual diagnosis with ID/Autism and a range of Mental Health diagnosis. We are funded through the federal Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver to provide home support for individuals with intellectual disabilities that present challenging and maladaptive behaviors. RCSS can assist individuals with extremely challenging behaviors, while following the State Regulations and Guidelines. We currently have homes available in the York County and Cumberland County catchment areas. If you are considering RCSS as an option for residential services please do not hesitate to contact your Community Case Manager and have them reach us directly to discuss your situation in greater depth.
